Chapel Ridge

Chapel Ridge | Chatham County

Chatham County’s landscape is unmistakably North Carolina: rolling hills, old pine forests, hot summers and mild winters. It’s an ideal setting for great golf. Carrying on the state’s legacy of Pinehurst, Chatham County features several world-class golf courses, many designed by former PGA champions.

Spanning 1,000 acres of countryside, Chapel Ridge is one of the best golf destinations in the Triangle. But more than the course itself is the adjacent community, The Estates at Chapel Ridge. This community of luxurious, custom homes is one of the Triangle’s premier addresses, combining resort style-living with a suburban atmosphere.

About the Homes

The Estates at Chapel Ridge offer both new homes and homesites for prospective residents.

Existing and pre-sale homes are built by some of the Triangle’s most prestigious builders and range from 3 and 4 bedroom traditional homes to sprawling country estates. Many lots feature golf course views, huge backyards, and lakeside vistas for a vacation-like experience in your own backyard.

Homesites offer similar amenities with the option to choose your own builder or use one of Chapel Ridge’s current partners. Certain homesites also have no time limit for building, allowing you and your builder to take as long as you need to build your dream home.

About the Golf Course

Chapel Ridge is an 18-hole golf course designed by Fred Couples, fifteen-time PGA Tour tournament winner. Modeled after traditional old-school American golf courses, Chapel Ridge uses the rolling hills of Chatham County to create a diverse and challenging game. Water hazards are minimal but challenging, and each hole features carefully framed views of the countryside.

Amenities

Chapel Ridge has all the amenities you would expect of a golf-course community, offering true resort-style living for its residents. A centrally located clubhouse features a community pool with a water slide, lounge chairs, and a children’s play area. There are also sport courts, a gym, and athletic fields. The onsite restaurant is managed by Raleigh’s Backyard Bistro, offering delicious Southern-style pub fare.

Chapel Ridge’s location also affords residents an easy commute. You’re minutes from US-501 – the primary conduit for Chapel Hill and Durham – and subsequently Interstate 40 and 85. US-64 is also nearby, which takes you directly to downtown Raleigh.
