Kensington Park

Persimmon Hill

Mostly consisting of homes from the 90s, Persimmon Hill’s affordable prices carry a lot of value. The neighborhoods larger lots – some over two acres – and proximity to Chapel Hill are ideal for first-time or budget-minded buyers. The lower Chatham County taxes sweeten the deal.

Polks Landing

With most of its homes built in the 1970s, Polks Landing is one of the more established neighborhoods around Chapel Hill. The older average home age comes with lower prices – and lower square footage – but they’re well-constructed, excellent value, and very close (7 miles) to town.

Pollander

Pollander’s 19 lots are large and rural, perfect for big families and horses. With an average lot size of 6 acres and prices in the $500s, the neighborhood represents an excellent value for anyone looking for more space. That doesn’t mean you’ll sacrifice amenities: charming downtown Pittsboro is only ten minutes away.

Potterstone Village

Newer, but not new construction is a great way for buyers to get into established communities with modern features. Potterstone Village’s homes are all less than ten years old, and feature the amenities of many new construction communities, including hiking trails and a community pool. Only 20 minutes from Chapel Hill, the location is also hard to beat.

Powell Place
